3 weeks into the refurb and things are starting to happen now

Got the quotes in from the electrician and the second heating engineer . The heating chap has been given the go ahead and has ordered the boiler. Being installed on Thursday as long as I have some gas bottles delivered by then (No pressure, FlowGas 🤞)
Electrician quote was excessive, but Mark next door knew of one and he was really great. New consumer unit installed today and really happy
The “spare” cables are from the old Economy 7 night storage heaters, they will be tidied up next week and may be used for outside lights etc
The new utility room is really coming together and once I have done the joint tapes tomorrow it will be ready for plastering on Monday
Shower cable is in and connected to the board ready to go and water pipe is fed in ready to connect it. New power ring main is in too.
Had a bit of a result this week, the space we have for the worktop above the washing machine, tumble dryer and sink is exactly 225cm, we have managed to find a chap selling a granite worktop with sinks attached that is exactly 225cm long and all for only £60. Was meant to be, so went and got that on Wednesday
Registered with the Doctors this week and got the dogs and Lola registered with a vet too.
Dogs have continued to settle in, Harley is loving the huge garden and spends all day dropping a ball at our feet for us to throw, he has also realised I cannot ignore it if he drops it into the screw box 😂
Buddy, as always, likes to supervise and comes in to makes sure I stop when it’s Tea break time.
Shed has arrived too this week, just need to find a spare day to assemble it 😂
