Starting to feel like a home now, almost….
Found the toaster, kitchen is clean ( possibly first time in years), bed is reassembled and have the living room straighter
Need to sort a gas bottle so we can have something other than microwave meals, but hoping to get that done tomorrow or Friday
Found some really funky electrics, so will have to sort that soon. Seems that if you turn on the light that’s in the passage between the kitchen and what will be the utility room, the kitchen light goes out. Quite funky, but dodgy as hell 😂😳
Still don’t have any broadband yet, but have really good 4G and some 5G too so not a disaster. It is ordered, but will be 11th or 12th before it’s live.
Started to try and find the garden today, list of old crap lying around is starting to grow
- Ford transit wheel and tyre
- Old kids pink plastic Wendy House (shed)
- Small fridge (shed)
- Old gate, formally in the middle of the fence 3/4 of the way down the garden
- Nice old plant pot with horses on it, I’ll add photo tomorrow
- Various toy cars, old batteries, mugs, paving slabs etc
Kaff has also managed to find all the stinging nettles, so bit sore this evening
Off to Homebase tomorrow in Peterborough to try and grab a bargain on a kitchen (50% off, but sale ending soon!)
